*Life is a Running Escalator—Every Moment is Taking You to Your Final Destination* Allah SWT repeatedly reminds us throughout the blessed Qur'an that life never stands still. Whether we are conscious of it or not, every heartbeat, every sunrise, every sunset, every passing day and night is carrying us toward the moment appointed by Allah. Life is like a continuously moving escalator. The moment we are born, we step onto it. We cannot stop it, slow it down, or step off before reaching the destination determined by Allah SWT. Allah SWT repeatedly communicates this reality to warn us through the Blessing Qur'an: "Every soul shall taste death..." (Qur'an 3:185) "For every nation is a fixed term. When their time comes, they cannot delay it by a single hour nor advance it." (Qur'an 7:34) "He is the One who made the sun a shining light and the moon a reflected light and determined its phases so that you may know the number of years and the reckoning of time." (Qur'an 10:5) The sun and moon are like Allah's divine timekeepers, while our lives are the passengers on the moving escalator of time. The remarkable truth is this: Everyone reaches the destination exactly on time. No one arrives early. No one arrives late. No wealth, power, defence, intelligence, or technology can pause the escalator for even a second. The real difference is how we travel the path of Dunya while being carried. Some spend the journey moving upward through faith, repentance, Qur'an, prayer, charity, and righteous deeds. Others remain distracted, collecting the temporary decorations of this world while forgetting that the escalator never stops. Surah An-Nisā' (4:27–28) adds another profound dimension. As the escalator moves inevitably toward our meeting with Allah SWT, Allah calls us forward through repentance and wants to lighten our burden, while the unchecked desires make us servants of Dunya like Donky persuading to carry heavy to heavier loads. The destination does not change—but the condition in which we arrive certainly does. Remarkable Reflection: The greatest illusion is thinking that I still have plenty of time. Don't worry-This is the right time to enjoy life with party." But the greatest reality is that with the timeline, life escalator is already crossing the path of Dunya. Every second spent is a step closer to final destination for standing before Allah SWT. The wise person is not the one who tries to stop the escalator—that is impossible. The wise person is the one who uses every moving step with preparation to draw closer to Allah SWT before reaching the final destination. Life is not a staircase waiting for you to climb someday. It is a running escalator already carrying you toward your meeting with Allah SWT. The question is not whether you are moving—but in which direction your heart is moving while every second of time carries you. Ya Hayyu,Ya Qayyum, We seek Your relief. The Silence Before the Final Verdict: Allah's Mercy Is Not His Limitation The Blessing Qur'an teaches us a profound reality: "If Allah were to take mankind to task immediately for their wrongdoing, He would not leave a single living creature on the earth. But He grants them respite until an appointed term. Then, when their appointed time comes, they can neither delay it nor advance it by a single moment." (The Blessing Qur'an Surah 16:61) This verse corrects a dangerous misunderstanding. One who repeatedly violates Allah's commands and, because no immediate punishment comes, conclude that there will never be any consequence. They trust in their power, influence, wealth, or plans, imagining that they are beyond accountability. The Blessing Qur'an teaches the opposite. The delay is not because Allah cannot act right now. The delay is because Allah SWT chooses to show His limitless Mercy. His forbearance is an invitation to repent before the appointed time arrives which is the point of no return. A Living Metaphor: The Patient Judge Imagine a wise judge who sees a guilty person but postpones the verdict, allowing time for confession, restitution, and sincere repentance for correction. But the arrogant mistake the silence for weakness and says, "Nothing has happened. No one can stop." The judge's silence, however, is not an inability to judge—it is an act of mercy, an opportunity for correction. When the appointed day of judgment arrives, the verdict is carried out with perfect justice- no more, no less. Likewise, Allah's respite should never be mistaken for helplessness. It is a priceless opportunity to return to Him before it's too late. Another metaphor is the yellow traffic light. It does not mean, "There is no law." It means, "You still have time to stop before it is too late." Ignoring that warning does not abolish the consequences of running the red light. The Greatest Illusion: One of Shayṭān's greatest deceptions is to whisper inside you: "You have sinned for years, and nothing happened." "You are still successful." "Your plans are working." "Don't worry, go on and on." But Surah 16:61 exposes this illusion to dust. The absence of immediate punishment is not evidence of Allah's approval; it is evidence of His patience, mercy, and opportunity. Central Reflective Takeaway: Every moment that Allah SWT delays punishment is a gift of time for Tawbah (repentance), not proof that wrongdoing is safe exit. The arrogant mistake Allah's mercy for weakness, but the believer recognizes every delayed consequence as an opportunity to return before the appointed time—when no power, no plan, no strategy and no influence can delay Allah's judgment by even for a Single Moment. *The Divine Cure for Fear and Sadness: Become a Friend of Allah SWT* Reflection from the Blessing Qur'an- "Indeed, the friends (Awliya') of Allah will have no fear, nor will they grieve. They are those who believe and are constantly mindful of Allah (have taqwa)." (Surah Yunus 10:62–63) This is not merely a promise—it is a divine guarantee. Allah SWT does not say that His friends might be free from fear and sadness. Rather, He declares with certainty that His true friends will have no ultimate fear about the future and no lasting grief over the past. A Powerful Metaphor: The Child Holding His Beloved Father's Hand Imagine a small child walking through a dark, wild forest. - The darkness is still there. - The frightening sounds are still there. - The path is still difficult. Yet the child is not terrified because he is holding the hand of his strong, loving, and trusted father. Likewise, a believer who becomes a friend of Allah SWT does not necessarily escape life's tests. Rather, he walks through every trial under Allah's protection. The storm may continue, but panic disappears because the heart knows Who is in complete control. Another Metaphor: The VIP Security Pass Imagine an airport where thousands of travelers wait anxiously, while a VIP traveler carries a special security pass. Security personnel guide and protect that traveler throughout the journey. This world is only a temporary transit terminal on the way to the Hereafter. The friendship of Allah SWT is the believer's ultimate "VIP security pass." The greatest privilege is not wealth, status, or worldly influence—it is Allah's protection of the heart from crippling fear and overwhelming sadness. Terms of Reference (ToR): How to Become a Friend of Allah SWT No wealth, bank balance, social status, seniority, PhD, or master's degree is required to become a friend of Allah SWT. The Blessing Qur'an mentions only two conditions: 1. True Iman (Faith): Trust Allah SWT above everything else. 2. Taqwa (God-consciousness): Live every moment seeking Allah's pleasure and avoiding His displeasure. Therefore, the solution is not merely trying to suppress fear or sadness. The real solution is to strengthen your relationship with Allah SWT. When your heart moves closer to Allah: - Fear is replaced by trust. - Sadness is replaced by hope. - Anxiety is replaced by tawakkul (complete reliance upon Allah). - Loneliness is replaced by the companionship of the Most Merciful. Transformational Lesson: Many people spend their lives searching for relief from fear and sadness through wealth, positions, power, or by pursuing influential people. Allah SWT points us to a completely different cure. Do not chase the absence of fear. Chase the friendship of Allah SWT. When you become one of Allah's Awliya' through true faith and taqwa, Allah Himself guarantees: "Indeed, the friends of Allah—there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve." (Surah Yunus 10:62) The greatest success in life is not becoming famous, wealthy, or powerful. It is becoming a true friend of Allah SWT, for His friendship brings the peace that no worldly achievement can ever provide and the success that continues into eternity. *Allah Is Calling You Forward—Why Are You Running Backward?* We can draw a Practical Architecture of Reflective Learning from Surah An-Nisā' (4:27–28). Let's have a deep understanding how Allah SWT invite us for His guidance when we are created weak: "Allah wants to accept your repentance, but those who follow their desires want you to deviate tremendously. Allah wants to lighten your burden, and mankind was created weak." (The Blessing Qur'an 4:27–28) Let's take a metaphorical frame to explain vividly how Allah SWT is caring for you! Imagine a rescue team calling to a person trapped in a flood with stormy weather: "Come this way! We will rescue you. Leave your heavy load behind." But instead of moving toward the rescuers, the person turns around, picks up more unnecessary weight, and walks deeper into the stormy flood zone ignoring red alert depending on his false power where he is a certified weak creation. This is the spiritual picture painted by Surah 4:27–28. Allah is not calling us backward into loss for pointless life journey; He is calling us forward—toward repentance, forgiveness, and relief for ensuring final achievement of life. At the very same time, uncontrolled desires (hawā) pull in the opposite direction, inviting us away from Allah SWT and into heavier burdens to final destruction. The contrast in these verses is striking: Allah wants to accept your repentance and guide you to final success. Uncontrolled Desires want you to stray far away from the right path. Allah wants to lighten your burden. Uncontrolled Desires keep adding weight to fill your soul with dirty smoke. Life of Dunya is like walking on a moving walkway. Allah's guidance carries you toward safety and eternal success. Walking with His blessing guidance moves you forward. Turning away and following unchecked desires is like walking against the moving walkway—you expend more effort yet move farther from your final destination. Our weakness, mentioned in verse 4: 28, is not an excuse to surrender to uncontrolled desires. Rather, it explains why we need constant Guidance of Allah SWT. The One who created our weakness on inbuilt design is also the One Who cordially invites us to forgiveness and promises to lighten our burdens. Every sincere repentance to Allah SWT removes a burden weight from the heart. Every act of obedience to Allah SWT lightens the life journey. Every sin left behind is a burden put down. Every uncontrolled desire obeyed against Allah's guidance adds another heavy stone to the backpack of the soul. The timeless choice: Take a pause and look forward! The true success of life journey never be measured by the wealth, position and power of Dunya as Allah SWT certified you as a weak creation. Then what are the choices before you? Yes! Every day, two invitations stand before you: Allah's invitation: "Come forward. Repent. I will forgive you. I will lighten your burden." The invitation of unchecked desires: "Come this way. Delay repentance. Engage in unnecessary gossip sharing, ignore the Blessing Quran, company of the righteous, Carry more and more worthless. Wander farther." The tragedy is not that Allah's invitation is hidden—it is openly declared in the Blessing Qur'an. The tragedy is when a certified weak human being refuses the hand extended by the Most Megistic, Most Merciful, Most Powerful and keeps running in the opposite direction. Reflective Takeaway: The question is not whether Allah SWT is calling. He is. But the he question is: When Allah SWT calls us forward,- Are we walking toward Him—or are we running backward with a heavier increasing burden than yesterday? *Fire of Arrogance versus Tears of Repentance* At the beginning of human creation, when the angels questioned, Allah SWT said, “Indeed, I know what you do not know.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:30) Allah SWT knew that humanity would be made of clay. Clay carries impurity — so humans would err. Yet clay is also soft — it can be reshaped after it breaks. Within the human heart is that same softness — it sins, but it weeps; it slips, but it longs to return to Allah SWT again and again. This Tawbah means “Return” is most beloved to Allah SWT. The first chapter in Paradise was a lesson for all humanity: You will make mistakes, but your honor is not defined by your mistake. Your honor is defined by what you do after it. Arrogance leads to the path of Iblis. Repentance returns you to the path of Adam As- Siratul mustawiim. (Ref-Surah 7-13, 23) Ya Rabbana - as a traveller we are crossing the Ocean of Dunya toward the shore of Your pleasure and Jannah. O Allah SWT bless us with the qualities of Sabiriin, Sadiqiin, Qanitiin, Munfiqiin, and Mustaghfiriin bil-Ashaar for successful completion of this transatory life journey. Ameen.

*Life: A Fixed Deposit of Time Currency* A Reflective Insight from Surah Yunus 10:5 Jonah (10:5) هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ ٱلشَّمْسَ ضِيَآءًۭ وَٱلْقَمَرَ نُورًۭا وَقَدَّرَهُۥ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُوا۟ عَدَدَ ٱلسِّنِينَ وَٱلْحِسَابَ ۚ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ذَٰلِكَ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ يُفَصِّلُ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍۢ يَعْلَمُونَ ٥ "He is the One Who made the sun a radiant source and the moon a reflected light, with precisely ordained phases, so that you may know the number of years and calculation ˹of time˺. Allah did not create all this except for a purpose. He makes the signs clear for people of knowledge". Allah SWT says that He made the sun a radiant light, the moon with measured phases, and determined them so that you may know the number of years and the reckoning of time. He concludes by saying that He created this in truth—that is, with purpose and wisdom. A powerful metaphor: Imagine that on the day you are born, Allah SWT opens a fixed deposit account, not with money, but with a fixed amount of time currency. The balance is known only to Allah SWT. You cannot deposit more time. You cannot borrow additional time. You cannot extend its maturity date. You can only spend the time that has been entrusted to you. How do you know and measure your time currency is being spent? Allah has placed Divine Time-Measuring Devices throughout the universe: ☀️ The sun deducts one day from your balance. 🌙 The moon records the passing of each month through its phases. 🌍 Day and night function like the continuous clock of your account. 📅 The years reveal how much of your entrusted time has already been spent. Every sunrise is not merely the beginning of a new day—it is the spending of another unit of your time currency. Every sunset closes that day's account forever. Every birthday is not an increase in life but a reminder that another year's allocation has already been used. The greatest investment of time currency: Unlike worldly currency, time currency has only one direction—it can only be spent, never recovered. The Qur'an teaches that Allah SWT created these celestial signs so that we may keep account of time currency. The metaphor extends this reflection: the value of our "time currency" is determined by how we use it, not by how much deposit of it we possess. The successful believer invests this currency very cautiously in: Increasement in the level of Iman and Taqwa. Righteous deeds. Benefiting others. Seeking forgiveness. Preparing for the final meeting with Allah SWT. Central Reflective Insight: Life is Allah's fixed deposit of time currency. The sun, the moon, the day, and the night are His Divine Time-Measuring Devices, continuously recording the spending of your earthly balance. The wisest investor is not the one who lives the longest time in Dunya, but the one who converts the greatest portion of this temporary time currency into eternal rewards before the balance of account reaches Zero. Ya Rabbana, protect us from the temporary illusion of Dunya and guide us to spend every single moment of time currency for sake of Your Pleasure. Ameen.
