*The Heart's Diagnostic Report: The Blessed Qur'an—The Divine Prescription Before the Disease Becomes Terminal* The Open Invitation of Allah SWT to the Humanity says: "O mankind! There has come to you an instruction from your Lord, a healing for what is in the hearts, a guidance, and a mercy for the believers." (Surah Yunus 10:57) Imagine just as a hidden deficiency of iron, vitamin, or minerals slowly weakens the body before obvious symptoms appear, the heart can suffer from a silent deficiency of faith. It rarely collapses overnight. It weakens gradually—one neglected prayer, one forgotten dhikr, one unopened Qur'an, one delayed repentance at a time. By the time the symptoms become obvious, the disease has already advanced. Prayer feels burdensome. Tears disappear. Sin feels ordinary. The Qur'an gathers dust instead of healing the soul. Surah 10:57 is Allah's invitation to a spiritual health check. Before the disease of the heart reaches a critical stage, He provides the cure Himself. The Blessed Qur'an is not merely a book to be admired—it is the Divine prescription, healing the diseases hidden within the heart: doubts, heedlessness, arrogance, despair, and the love of worldly distractions. Just as no wise person ignores a doctor's prescription after receiving a serious diagnosis, no believer should ignore the prescription of the Lord of the worlds after hearing His call. Today, ask your heart: Is my connection with the Blessed Qur'an becoming stronger or weaker? Does my heart still feel pain after committing a sin? Which act of worship have I quietly abandoned? If my faith were examined today, would it be diagnosed as healthy—or severe deficient? Physical illness may shorten worldly life. But the illness of the heart can endanger eternal life. The most important check-up is not only the one that examines our blood—it is the one that examines our Iman before death arrives without appointment. O Allah, Ya Rabbana, Healer of every heart, make the Qur'an the cure for our spiritual illnesses, the light of our hearts, the guide of our lives, and the mercy that leads us safely to You. Protect us from the silent deficiency of faith, grant us sincere repentance, keep our hearts alive with Your remembrance until our final breath, and allow us to meet You with a sound and faithful heart. *The Summit of Tawḥīd: The Highest Humiliation Before Allah SWT Alone* Allah SWT declares in the Blessed Qur'an: "Say, 'To Allah belongs all intercession entirely. To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Then to Him you will be returned.'" (Surah Az-Zumar 39:44) This verse dismantles every illusion of independent power. It declares that intercession belongs entirely to Allah SWT. No prophet, no angel, no martyr, and no righteous servant owns the right to intercede. If they intercede, it is only because Allah SWT grants permission and is pleased with them and with those on whose behalf they intercede. Why then does Allah SWT allow intercession? Not because He needs a mediator, but because He honors His chosen servants. Intercession is a manifestation of Allah's generosity toward the intercessor, not a limitation upon His sovereignty. Just as Allah SWT alone provides sustenance, yet honors the wealthy by allowing them to spend in His cause, He alone grants salvation, yet honors whom He wills with the privilege of intercession. The greatest lesson of this verse is the highest level of humility (adh-dhull) before Allah SWT. Once the believer knows that the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs entirely to Allah SWT and that every soul will inevitably return to Him, every attachment to created beings weakens. The heart bows only to Allah SWT, fears only Allah SWT, hopes only in Allah SWT, and seeks only His pleasure. This is the essence of al-Inābah—the heart's continual return to Allah SWT in love, hope, fear, trust, and obedience. The one who truly understands Surah 39:44 no longer asks, "Who will intercede for me?" Rather, he asks, "Am I living a life that Allah SWT will be pleased with?" For His pleasure is the key that unlocks every blessing, including the intercession He permits. The journey of faith reaches its summit when the servant willingly accepts complete dependence upon Allah SWT, complete submission to His commands, and complete contentment with His decree. That is the honor of true servitude and the foundation of eternal success. O Allah, make our hearts utterly dependent upon You alone. Remove every trace of hidden reliance on creation, and fill our hearts with sincere Tawḥīd, complete humility, and constant inābah. Make us among those with whom You are pleased, whose deeds You accept, and whom You honor with Your mercy and the intercession You permit on the Day of Return. Our Lord, let our greatest concern always be Your pleasure alone. Ameen.

*Abu Lahab: The Man Cursed by Allah SWT—When Pride Becomes a Prison* Surah Lahab/ Al-Masad is one of the most extraordinary chapters of the Blessed Qur'an. It is the only Surah in which Allah SWT explicitly condemns a specific enemy of Islam by name. Abu Lahab was not a distant stranger—he was the Prophet Muhammad's SAW own uncle. Yet blood ties could not save a heart that rejected the truth. His story is not preserved to condemn one man alone. It is a permanent warning against the roots of spiritual destruction: arrogance, pride, love of wealth, and stubborn resistance to Allah's guidance. As Allah SWT Himself cursed Abu Lahab though he was the uncle of Prophet Muhammad SAW: "Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! His wealth and whatever he earned did not benefit him." (Surah Lahab/Al-Masad 111:1–2) Surah Lahab/Al-Masad is not merely the story of Abu Lahab. It is the Qur'an's timeless diagnosis of a diseased heart. Imagine a magnificent ship with the most advanced engines, but its captain refuses to change course toward the Lighthouse. The problem is not the distance to guidance—it is the arrogance that rejects it. Abu Lahab lived closer to the Messenger SAW than almost anyone. He heard the Blessed Qur'an directly. He witnessed the Prophet's noble character. Yet proximity to truth did not save him because pride built walls that revelation could not penetrate. His greatest investment was in wealth, status, and self-importance. But Allah SWT declared their bankruptcy before history did as mentioned in the Blessed Qur'an: "His wealth and whatever he earned did not benefit him." (111:2) Wealth is not condemned in this Surah but the illusion that wealth makes us self-sufficient. Pride whispers, "I have enough. I know everything-the rest are foolish. I do not need to submit." That whisper becomes the seed from which disbelief, arrogance, and hostility to truth grow and contaminate the heart. Surah Lahab/Al-Masad reminds us that the greatest poverty is not an empty wallet—it is a heart too proud to bow before Allah SWT. And the greatest loss is not losing possessions of wealth, rank-profile but losing guidance while standing beside the Lighthouse of Guidance. Then comes the Devastating Warning: The next version of You- Death Body! "And the intoxication of death will come in truth: 'This is what you were trying to avoid.'" ( The Blessed Qur'an 50:19) The Metaphor: A Lifelong Examination Without any Duplication Imagine sitting an examination where every answer is written directly onto the final script. There is no rough draft, no opportunity to erase yesterday's pages, and no extension after the bell rings. Every passing moment permanently becomes part of the final submission. That is our life. We spend our days building careers, accumulating possessions, postponing repentance, Salah, Righteous deeds, and assuming there will always be another tomorrow. Yet death is not governed by our Calendar. It arrives exactly when Allah SWT has decreed—never early, never late but just on Time and put a big full stop on our Life Journey. Then the Trumpet will be blown: "And the Trumpet will be blown. That is the Day of the Threat." (The Blessed Qur'an 50:20) On that Day, what we called "The Future Projection" becomes The Present Reality. What we treated as a distant belief becomes undeniable reality. The veil is lifted, excuses disappear, and the record we have been writing every day is placed before us. The Blessed Qur'an has already given us the warning. The Question is not whether the Day will come—it certainly will. The Question is whether we will respond before the record is closed. Reflective Takeaway for Today and Every Day: If every word you speak and every deed you perform is already being preserved for Allah's final audit, what will you write into your record before the next page is turned? There is still time to repent, to forgive, to perform Salah, to do righteous deeds, to speak truth, to remember Allah SWT, and to return to Him. But that opportunity belongs only to those who prepare before the intoxication of Death arrives. *A Heart Anchored by Tawḥīd, Blossoming into Al-Inābah* The ultimate Fruit of Tawḥīd is Al-Inābah - A Heart that always returns to Allah SWT as its Only Permanent Home Address. Tawḥīd is not merely the belief that Allah is One. Its greatest visible fruit is Al-Inābah (الْإِنَابَةُ)—the heart's continual return to Allah with love, trust, humility, and complete dependence. Therefore Allah SWT commands: «"And turn in repentance and devotion (anībū) to your Lord and submit to Him before the punishment comes upon you; then you will not be helped." (Surah Az-Zumar 39:54)» This command reveals that true Tawḥīd is not a static belief but a continuous movement of the heart toward its Lord. A heart that truly knows Allah SWT cannot remain distant from Him for long. It always returns. A beautiful metaphor is that of a compass. No matter how many times a compass is shaken, rotated, or displaced, its needle unfailingly points back to true North. Likewise, the heart of a Munīb (مُنِيب) may be tested by the storms of life, distracted by worldly attractions, or shaken by trials, yet it never settles anywhere except with Allah SWT. Every joy leads it to gratitude, every hardship to patience, every sin to repentance, and every blessing to remembrance. Tawḥīd is the magnetic force that keeps the heart aligned with its only true destination. This is the quality Allah SWT praises in Surah Qāf: «"This is what was promised to every one who constantly turned to Allah (Awwāb) and carefully guarded His covenant—who feared the Most Merciful without seeing Him and came with a heart devoted in return (biqalbin munīb)." (Surah Qāf 50:32–33)» The Munīb is not sinless, but directionally flawless. Whenever he stumbles, he returns. Whenever he forgets, he remembers. Whenever he feels weak, he seeks strength only from Allah SWT. His heart has only one Permanent Address- Shelter to Allah SWT. Like a sunflower that continually turns toward the sun to receive its light, the heart of the believer continually turns toward Allah SWT to receive guidance, mercy, and tranquility. It does not revolve around wealth, status, people, power, position, sycophancy or worldly success. It revolves around its Majestic Creator only. Reflective Takeaway: The truest measure of Tawḥīd is not simply what the tongue declares, but where the heart returns first. A heart illuminated by Tawḥīd becomes a heart of Inābah, and such a heart is among the beloved Al-Munībīn—those whom Allah has promised honor, security, and Paradise. O Allah, Ya Rabbana, make our hearts among the hearts of the Munībīn. Let every joy bring us closer to You, every trial return us to You, and every breath strengthen our Tawḥīd until we meet You with a sound and ever-returning heart. Ameen.

*The Greatest Tragedy of Life Journey: Throwing Away the Divine Roadmap and Chasing a Mirage* Allah SWT asks one of the most penetrating questions in the Qur'an: "And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord, then turns away from them and forgets what his own hands have sent ahead? Indeed, We have placed coverings over their hearts lest they understand it, and deafness in their ears. Even if you call them to guidance, they will never be guided." (Surah Al-Kahf 18:57) Here in brief, Allah SWT discloses complete picture of the worst people. The worst people are those who turn away after being reminded. Life is a journey from Dunya to Akhirah, and the Blessed Qur'an is Allah's flawless roadmap to Jannah. Every ayah is a signpost, every command a safety barrier, every prohibition a danger warning, and every story a real-life lesson showing the path to success and the consequences of deviation. Imagine a compassionate doctor who repeatedly diagnoses your illness, prescribes the perfect treatment, and lovingly warns you against habits that will destroy your health. Yet every visit ends the same way—you ignore the prescription and deliberately do the opposite. The more the doctor warns, the more you embrace what harms you. No one would expect such a patient to recover. Now imagine being entrusted with the greatest treasure on earth. Would anyone throw it into the sea? Of course not. That would be utter foolishness. Yet many people do something far more tragic. Allah SWT has placed into our hands the greatest gift ever given to humanity—the Blessed Qur'an, the speech of the Lord of the worlds. Every letter carries reward. Every verse provides guidance. Every surah nurtures faith. Every juz contains mercy, warnings, and hope. The entire blessed Qur'an is a timeless miracle that no human being could ever think. The speciality is that no human, no genius, and no messenger authored it—it is the speech of Allah SWT and processed by Himself beyond the Earth. Yet instead of holding firmly to this priceless treasure, many exchange it for the glitter of a world that Allah Himself describes as temporary. Dunya is like a shimmering mirage in a burning desert. It promises satisfaction but leaves the heart thirstier than before. The Blessed Qur'an, however, is like a divine compass and an illuminated map, guiding the traveller safely through the desert of life toward the eternal gardens of Jannah. The greatest loss is not that guidance was unavailable—it is that guidance was received, understood, and then deliberately abandoned. Surah 18:57 also warns of one of the most frightening consequences of persistent rejection. When people repeatedly turn away from Allah's reminders, preferring the attractions of Dunya over the truth, they are not merely making isolated wrong choices. Their continual rejection has consequences. Allah SWT describes coverings over their hearts and deafness in their ears. Their spiritual perception becomes so impaired that, even when the truth is presented again and again, they no longer recognize its beauty or respond to its call. It is not because the Qur'an lacks clarity, but because they continually chose illusion over revelation until their hearts became unreceptive to guidance. This is the real danger of loving Dunya more than divine guidance: the temporary attraction of the world can gradually blind the heart and make deaf the ears to eternal reality. May Allah SWT fill our hearts with love for the Blessed Qur'an, make it the light of our hearts, the guide for every decision, and the roadmap that leads us to Jannatul Firdaus. May He protect us from the deception of temporary Dunya, keep our hearts open to His reminders, and never allow our hearts, ears, or perception to become sealed through persistent neglect of His guidance.
